Finding a credible booking agency that appreciates the strengths and nuances of an artist or band and has the time
to devote to championing them to prospective buyers is the singular most difficult task for any touring musician.
Conversely, finding extraordinary unsigned talent that clearly rises above the mundane is also a daunting task for
an emerging booking agency.
Rex Fowler has been on both sides of this scenario having both performed with and booked
for his band Aztec Two-Step for the past 30 plus years.
Now, with his partner Bobbi Dickerman, Monarch Music Agency has been launched to support and expand the performing
career of Aztec Two-Step and the other extraordinary musicians on their roster.
Bobbi Dickerman has been an avid fan of Aztec Two-Step ever since her undergraduate college days at the University of Rochester,
then George Washington University where she earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development in the late 1970’s.
After an early career as a budget analyst for a publishing house, and raising her two daughters in northern NJ – all
the while pursuing her passion for art, she began assisting Aztec Two-Step with publicity and road managing details before
tackling the art of booking. Grateful for the support and noticing her innate organizational and verbal skills, Rex posed
the suggestion that they together form Monarch Music Agency.
